“Stripping down electronic devices and extracting parts for making jewellery, I thought it would be interesting to collect a few old mobile phone keypads. Within a few years, smartphones have integrated these keypads into the touch screen. I see this as a step in the evolution of our communication, from symbol to writing, from writing to printing devices, from the typewriter to the computer, from the laptop and notebook to the first generation of mobile phones. Here are some interesting integrated circuits connecting with the touch screen sensors.”
