Fashioning Technology Showcase + catalogue

Participants of the fashioning technology workshops, given by Tara Pattenden throughout 2022, showcased their work at Advanced Queensland Precinct. A catalogue presenting their works was launched.

There were artist talks given by some workshop participants [Cathy Godwin, Felicity Clarke, Leah Emery, Rebecca Healy, Yulia Book, myself and Tara Pattenden], and presentations by industry leaders within e-textiles and creative technology, Mika Satomi from Kobakant, and Steph Piper, the MakerQueen. Steph presented her recent creation – GlowStitch, a range of machine sewable LED strips that make it easy to add lighting to a range of creative projects.
