I was part of the facilitators’ team for Marina Abramovic in Residence in Sydney – a Kaldor Art Project at Pier 2. A lot to say about this unique experience.
The last day, Sandy Edwards took photos of our team. Cameras were not allowed in the space while audience there, unless a few authorised documenters.

Doing nothing meant: staring at the ceiling, falling asleep, resting, crying, laughing....

this task triggered a lot of emotional reactions to the audience. Very profound!

amazing architecture of this old pier. Sometimes super cold with gaps between floor planks or gates and walls. One day particularly, the wind made the building sings.

During the residency, we changed the space and put some of the colours on pillars, next to the slow walk

Some facilitators liked to do this task when possible while audience was there too.

Last night was John Kaldor's birthday! We sang for him
